vintage 1966 Ideal Batman helmet & Cape in box costume hat mask

Here is a 1966 Ideal Batman helmet and cape in the box. Box says one size fits all, but it doesn't fit my adult head. Helmet is a sturdy plastic. Cape is a soft vinyl. Helmet is about 11.25" tall. Photo shows the ture color. There is someone's name inside the helmet and G.K. on the back edge of the cape. Cape has wrinkles,  is missing the draw string and has a 3/4" tear on the back draw string slot [see photo 10]. Box has wear and damage. Helmet has wear, scrapes and 2 little cracks [about 3/4" & 1/2"] at the bottom back edge [photo 11 & 12]. There is a tiny crack at right eye and one next to the nose.

Up for grabs is this vintage Mego Batcave made in the year 1974 for the 8" Mego figures. This set is in "minty" condition meaning it's a close to new as you can get. The playset is exceptional. There are no rips,tears or damage anywhere. The box which is rare to see at all is in amazing condition with no damage and looks as it did on the shelf back in '74. The paper litho is bright, vivd and sharp. The set is complete minus the cheesey paper computer that came with it. Other wise it's all there. You won't see a nicer example unless you find one sealed and unused and good luck finding one.

    Up for bid is this vintage 1966 Batman and Robin Coloring Set produced by Hasbro. This set includes 6 wood crayon pencils and 6 pre-sketched pictures to color, as well as a precision pencil sharpener. This box retains the original shrinkwrap as shipped from the factory and measures 17" x 10 3/8". As shown, there is some warping of the cardboard on the box bottom and some light soiling. There do not appear to be any moisture or mildew problems. The graphics consist of unfaded colors and a fun image of the caped crusaders. The lower left corner is marked "1966 copyright by National Periodical Publications Inc." Here is a Mego 8" scale WAYNE FOUNDATION MINT IN BOX, Bruce Wayne's (Batman) 4 story high/ 40" tall headquarters with penthouse!  Wayne Foundation and box are complete and ALL ORIGINAL vintage 1974 Mego with the single exception being the instruction sheet, guaranteed.  All parts, accessories and panels are in pristine condition, showing no signs of playwear.  Furniture is complete with original decals neatly affixed.  Bat Elevator is completely intact with the original pull string and the plastic bat symbol to pull the elevator up and release it down.  All of the yellow and gray connectors/ pillars are included with no defects.  Floor panels are also in perfect shape and completely intact.  The illustrated wall panels are clean, all tabs are intact, vibrant color and the vintage graphics look amazing.  Finally, you get a nice reproduction copy of the original instructions.  Double sided just like the original copy. 

Original Mego box is solid with nice 90 degree panels.  All flaps intact.  Nice vintage color all around.  Corners have some minor wear and one of the upper back corners has a small 2" tear.  Bottom flap is still sealed closed, other end can be opened to remove the Wayne Foundation parts.  Vintage Montgomery Wards catalog sticker on one side of box and a name/ number written in marker on the back panel.  This rare box displays extremely well as seen in the pics.  Complete MINT IN BOX vintage Mego WAYNE FOUNDATIONS are getting very hard to find these days, especially this RARE high grade playset.  This is a brand new 1966 Batman Shakespeare Bust actual working replica.  It is an exact copy of the one from the Batman tv show which Batman and Robin used to open to sliding door to go down the bat poles.  This has never been used or displayed.  The switch lights up when turned and when plugged in to another item, it can turn on and off other items.  Works perfectly!  These are very rare and almost impossible to find.  The color difference you see in a few of the photo's is from the camera flash.  On the 4th photo, you can see a little white spot.  It is actually a little raised area from the casting.  It is about 1/8" and can easily be touched up with paint.  Please note that this is a heavy item and needs to be sent in a large box to accommodate appropriate packing.  Please also note that the insurance amount will be added at the end depending on the final selling price.  Thanks.

RARE BOB KANE WATERCOLOR

 

You are purchasing an original Bob Kane water color painting of Batman and Robin. Painting measures 15" wide x 11" high and is in pristine condition. Colors are bright and unfaded. Painting is done on heavy paper stock and was painted in the early 1980s. Back of painting has number 123 written in lower right. It also has two pieces of acid-free hinging tape on top left and right of the back, from when it was previously framed.
