Rare 1940s composition Superman w/ wood
jointed limbs made by the Ideal Toy Co. 13" Superman is in good shape
complete w/ original cloth cape still intact. Superman shows some
scattered wear for his age with paint scrapes to chest area as shown.
The belt decal also has some chipping. There are no cracks nor major
damage that are seen with most of these composition dolls. The head and
face show well and are nearly flawless. And the jointed limbs appear to
have minor play wear. An overall excellent example of one of the first
