Up for grabs is this vintage Mego Batcave made in the year 1974 for the 8" Mego figures. This set is in "minty" condition meaning it's a close to new as you can get. The playset is exceptional. There are no rips,tears or damage anywhere. The box which is rare to see at all is in amazing condition with no damage and looks as it did on the shelf back in '74. The paper litho is bright, vivd and sharp. The set is complete minus the cheesey paper computer that came with it. Other wise it's all there. You won't see a nicer example unless you find one sealed and unused and good luck finding one.

    Up for bid is this vintage 1966 Batman and Robin Coloring Set produced by Hasbro. This set includes 6 wood crayon pencils and 6 pre-sketched pictures to color, as well as a precision pencil sharpener. This box retains the original shrinkwrap as shipped from the factory and measures 17" x 10 3/8". As shown, there is some warping of the cardboard on the box bottom and some light soiling. There do not appear to be any moisture or mildew problems. The graphics consist of unfaded colors and a fun image of the caped crusaders. The lower left corner is marked "1966 copyright by National Periodical Publications Inc." Please email with any condition concerns or questions. This is a great opportunity to own this excellent example of Batman memorabilia.

     CONDITION DETAILS:  As you can see, this figure is just breathtaking!  I have taken pictures from all angles so you can see truly how beautiful this specimen is.  The box and figure are amazing!  When you look at the figure and turn it every which way you see amazing color and newness.  I can’t guarantee it was never played with… but… if I were a betting man I would bet the farm that it has never been handled.  I only removed the figure from the box JUST to take these pictures.  Please look carefully at all the pics.  You’ll notice a tiny, mini hole near the neck, which frankly is a relief to find.  If it had been completely without any kind of blemish, it would make you wonder if it was truly genuine and authentic.  But this one is ABSOLUTELY, 100% GENUINE!  Other than what you see by the neck, there are no leaks, rips, pulls or holes.  The body is beautifully shaped and, of course, has hardened over the years.  (This is a sign that it was likely bought from the store, stored away somewhere and never moved).  Amazing!  You’ll also notice two pieces of tape taping the box to the top of the plastic coffin.  I believe that is how it came.  There’s a very small tear on left side of box.  Also, inside the box is the small instruction sheet for the Plastic Man figure.  Have you seen the box as well?  Unbelievable!  Look at all the sides… looks like it was never handled.   Not only is the figure and box in astounding condition, I doubt you ever see another one on ebay again.  Ever!  Do yourself a favor and snatch this baby up before someone else does!

Here is a Mego 8" scale WAYNE FOUNDATION MINT IN BOX, Bruce Wayne's (Batman) 4 story high/ 40" tall headquarters with penthouse!  Wayne Foundation and box are complete and ALL ORIGINAL vintage 1974 Mego with the single exception being the instruction sheet, guaranteed.  All parts, accessories and panels are in pristine condition, showing no signs of playwear.  Furniture is complete with original decals neatly affixed.  Bat Elevator is completely intact with the original pull string and the plastic bat symbol to pull the elevator up and release it down.  All of the yellow and gray connectors/ pillars are included with no defects.  Floor panels are also in perfect shape and completely intact.  The illustrated wall panels are clean, all tabs are intact, vibrant color and the vintage graphics look amazing.  Finally, you get a nice reproduction copy of the original instructions.  Double sided just like the original copy. 

Original Mego box is solid with nice 90 degree panels.  All flaps intact.  Nice vintage color all around.  Corners have some minor wear and one of the upper back corners has a small 2" tear.  Bottom flap is still sealed closed, other end can be opened to remove the Wayne Foundation parts.  Vintage Montgomery Wards catalog sticker on one side of box and a name/ number written in marker on the back panel.  This rare box displays extremely well as seen in the pics.  Complete MINT IN BOX vintage Mego WAYNE FOUNDATIONS are getting very hard to find these days, especially this RARE high grade playset. A GREAT looking ORIGINAL Mego 40" TALL Batman playset here, you won't be disappointed.  The WAYNE FOUNDATION, MINT IN BOX!

Google Small Soldiers, you may have to add Kenner or Stan Winston to it. There are several sites selling them. They usually don't have the entire collection available though. For toys that were clearenced for 2 for $5 now they want $40 to well over a hundred for. The Holy grail of the Small Soldiers is going to be the Battle changing Archer,then Tragster Freakenstein, and finally Kip Killigen. Most online stores and even the websites do not list the battle changing Archer and Freakenstein These were from the last assortment that the US didn't get, Canada did and most collectors had a hard time in the states getting them.

Toy is in good condition, but does have paint/other flaws due to it's age. There is a stress mark on one of the tail fins that hasn't shown up well in the pics, but should be noted.
Gimmiks all work and car includes 1 bird missile and 2 small silver missiles. Bird missile shoots pretty weakly, but will sit on the hood fine for display.
Box has wear and tear and there is no inner packaging.

Life size Robby the Robot of Forbidden Planet and B9 Robot from Lost in Space

The Lost in Space B9 Robot was built by me as a hobby about 7 years ago. A few years later I acquired this Fred Barton Robby to keep B9 company. I also made a few fun modifications to him to motorize and computerize some of his systems as well as synchronize his audio and blue neon to work with the B9 robot. These Robots also come with a retro black and white TV and an older ipod that stream video of the robots to the TV and the robots in sync. See the embedded video below. 

These Robots are in good condition although there are minor scratches or blemishes on them. Buyer is responsible shipping and securing a method of shipment. I recently sold my life size R2D2 and C3PO with the same shipping stipulations but I assisted the buyer in lining up a local shipping company to crate them and ship them. The buyer was very happy with the shipping service.

All of the playing pieces are there and are in excellent/near mint condition; virtually unplayed with. The top of the box, the board and all of the pieces are shinny, vivid, bright and unmarked. The game box top has 2 intact corners at the bottom and two unseamed corners at the top. The worst corner of the four is in the last photo. The board seam is completely intact and unseparated. There is a slight warp to the board as shown in the second to last photo. Instructions are printed on the board platform cardboard. Rare 1940s composition Superman w/ wood jointed limbs made by the Ideal Toy Co. 13" Superman is in good shape complete w/ original cloth cape still intact. Superman shows some scattered wear for his age with paint scrapes to chest area as shown. The belt decal also has some chipping. There are no cracks nor major damage that are seen with most of these composition dolls. The head and face show well and are nearly flawless.  And the jointed limbs appear to have minor play wear. The stop-motion animation that brought King Kong to life in the 1933 classic established a new standard for visual effects, and inspired generations of aspiring film-makers and effects technicians. Stop-motion pioneer Willis O'Brien and sculptor Marcel Delgado animated Kong using two 18-inch armatures; metal skeletons covered with sponge rubber, latex rubber, and fur. The two puppets had distinguishably different heads, one used in the log bridge and T-rex battle sequences, and the other used for all of the New York scenes and the balance of the Skull Island scenes. These puppets were not only incredibly realistic and detailed artworks, but the metal framework inside the T-rex Battle Armature was durable enough to survive the grueling shooting schedule of the original film, and later for Son of Kong.
